Ozzy Ibhawoh

Head Trainer

A former university basketball player hailing from the Hamilton area. With an impressive resume that spans from his elementary school days to his collegiate career, Ozzy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the court.

Ozzy's journey in basketball began in elementary school where he later played for team Ontario in grade 8. His talent continued to flourish as he secured the MVP title at St. Mary's Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton. In grade 11 Ozzy was recruited to purse his passion at Lincoln Prep, a prestigious basketball prep school renowned for its commitment to excellence.

Transitioning to the collegiate level, Ozzy made his mark at Canadore College in the OCAA league, making significant contributions with stat line of 15.5 points per game and 9.3 rebounds as a rookie.

Seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, he later transferred to TMU, formerly known as Ryerson University, before concluding his collegiate career at York University in Toronto.

Throughout his journey as a player, Ozzy remained deeply involved in coaching and training, giving back to the sport that had shaped him. His dedication to both playing and teaching the game led him to volunteer as a coach and trainer at his alma mater, where he inspired the next generation of athletes.
